Hearths with a retractable lifting door or "guillotine door" are designed to be integrated into the building.

The glass door slides upwards and disappears behind the masonry; the hearth then operates as an open fire.

With the glass door lowered, it operates with an excellent heat output in complete safety ; its exceptionally large glass door provides a perfect view of the fire.
